Demonstrators

The demonstrators show how Trace4Value is testing digital solutions in real-world settings. They provide concrete examples of how digital product passports, traceability systems and circular models can support the transition towards more sustainable value chains.

Textiles

  • Digital Product Passport in Textile – Over 3,000 products from Kappahl and Marimekko now carry QR codes giving access to supplier data. A prototype data model has been tested to prepare for upcoming EU regulations. Links: DPP Textile| Marimekko | Kappahl

Electronics

  • KEEP – Electronics Lifecycle – A digital product passport developed for electronic products, supporting circular use and lifecycle management. The second phase was completed in 2024. Link: KEEP Electronics

Construction and Circular Networks

  • Digital Twins in Circular Value Networks – Demonstrates real-time data sharing and a common vocabulary for circular flows in the construction sector, with pilots on materials such as flat glass. Link: Digital Twins

Standards and Interoperability

  • GS1 Digital Product Passport Standards – Testing how global GS1 standards can be applied in Swedish pilots, ensuring interoperability and scalability across industries. Link: GS1 Digital Product Passports
  • SwePass – A national platform building the foundation for digital product passports across value chains in Sweden, preparing industries for upcoming EU requirements.
